I am active in ultra marathon trail and road running. Ride a Harley Softail Custom and bowhunt big game. I earned a BSc. and BEd. from U of L. I teach the biology, general science and judo classes at Chinook, plus coach the cross country running team.
I have worked for the Alberta Government in my past as an Education Officer at the Fort McMurray Oil Sands Interpretive Centre and in Air Pollution Control monitoring and collecting scienctific data on Oil Sands facilities. In my youth I was the supervisor of construction and route finding for the Great Divide Trail.
As an undergrad I travelled to Rwanda, Africa where I stayed at the Karisoke Research Station monitoring mountain gorilla behavior and activity. I have been to the Galapagos Islands three times leading student groups. I am leading a travel trip to Japan for students of Chinook in 2019.
