Deanna Brouwer

Deanna was born in southern Alberta and attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University, in Richmond BC, for Interdisciplinary Design Studies, as well as Fashion Design and Technology and later graduated from the University of Lethbridge with a BA/Bed in Art Education. Before coming to Chinook, Deanna spent 12 years teaching fashion at Lethbridge College, including sewing, drafting, textiles, surface design, illustration, sourcing, production and manufacturing, computer pattern drafting and other computer applications such as the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign for fashion. Deanna has also worked for Lethbridge College as a writer and instructional designer
Deanna resides in Lethbridge with her husband, 3 children, and one very naughty Australian Labradoodle. She is passionate about fashion, art, and youth, and is very excited to share the many avenues available in Fashion Studies!
