Science

My name is Eva Gorny, and I am a home-grown local.  I graduated from the University of Lethbridge in December 2012 after completing my internship at Chinook. I have been fortunate enough to work at Chinook ever since, teaching a variety of science courses as well as student leadership.

I am a self-proclaimed "Science Nerd" and enjoy sharing my passion for science with my students. Outside of school, I am an avid runner and a singer. I love the outdoors, especially the mountains - my summers are spent camping, hiking, playing cribbage, and watching the stars.

At Chinook, I coach Cross-Country & Badminton.  You'll find me at sporting events, fine arts evenings, and may even spot me on stage in a dance show or two.  I love being involved in this school community, and sharing it with our staff and students.
