Family School Liaison Counsellor

I grew up in Northern Ontario and came to Lethbridge to attend university in the fall of 1998. I have spent nearly 20 years working with and alongside young people and their families in and around Southern Alberta. Relationships have been and continue to be at the core of informing my doing.

Last fall I relocated back to Lethbridge from Calgary with my partner, and our two cats, Squishy and Rootbeer. I continue to feel incredibly fortunate to have landed with Lethbridge School Division and more specifically here at Chinook as I get to work in a division and within a school where relationships with students and their families is at the forefront of our minds and always in our hearts as we work to support our students to Know their Why, Aim for Growth and to Take Ownership.

Outside of work I enjoy reading, running and swimming, especially summer lake swims, near daily river walks, coaching and playing basketball and spending time with those I love and care about and who love and care about me.

I look forward to supporting students and the adults responsible for them towards ensuring every Chinook student has the information, resources, supports and connections they need to experience success while they are with us here at Chinook and when they move on to their next chapter.

If you are a Chinook student or parent reading this, please feel invited to reach out and connect at any point throughout the year.
