Parent Information:
It is our hope at Chinook High School to provide the best education and learning opportunities for the students attending our school. This definitely includes an opportunity to learn about FNMI heritage and culture in and outside of the classroom. As for what the students have asked of us, we will find the best sources in our community to deliver quality learning opportunities for the FNMI meetings.
Participation at these student gatherings/meetings is voluntary and dependent upon good attendance and passing grades in their regular school work. We hope to provide an incentive/reward to the students who attend all meetings with a year-end activity. The students will determine what that will be.
We encourage you to ask your son or daughter what they are doing at the meetings. Should you have any questions about the meetings please feel free to contact Angie Standing Alone at angie.standingalone@lethsd.ab.ca
