Science

Chris graduated from the University of Lethbridge back in 2007, and has taught in Alberta at schools in Bowden, Fort MacLeod and Lethbridge ever since. He teaches General Science and Physics out of Room 223, where he aims to empower students to lead their own learning using traditional and non-traditional teaching practices. His favorite lessons often involve experiments racing Hot Wheels down the halls or utilizing a methanol cannon to launch wads of Duct Tape. His teaching philosophy can be summarized by the John Dewey quote: “If we teach today’s students with the methods of yesterday, we rob them of tomorrow”
