Kevin Schenk
Social Studies
Hi! I'm Kevin. I was born and raised in Lethbridge, attended Immanuel Christian Elementary & High School, and received my B.A in Psychology and my B.Ed in Social Studes from the University of Lethbridge in 2011 and 2012, respectively.
I've had the pleasure of spending the majority of my teaching career thus far at Chinook High School. I completed my PSIII Internship at the school in 2012, and after teaching Social Studies for a semester at LCI, I returned to Chinook in 2013 and have been lucky enough to stay here since. I've taught a wide variety of subjects in my six years at Chinook, including Social Studies (at every level), English, Knowledge & Employability, CTS, Legal Studies, New Media, English Language Learning, Science, and Psychology. The staff and students at Chinook are second to none, and it's my pleasure to be a part of this incredible community.
In terms of extra curricular activities, my main focus is as the Yearbook coordinator/mentor, and I like to get involved as often as possible in Fine Arts events, as drama and music are things I'm passionate about.
