I am reaching out to you today to invite you to participate in Chinook High School’s annual Terry Fox fundraiser in support of cancer research. In 1980, Terry had a dream of a world without cancer. Forty-five years later, Terry's Marathon of Hope lives on. If we work together, we can make such a difference in the lives of so many.
Students at Chinook High School will be participating in a Terry Fox Run/Walk on Friday, September 26th. Crossing the finish line means hope for everyone with cancer. Together, we can Finish It.
Leading up to this event, our Leadership program is coordinating donations to the Terry Fox Foundation through the “Toonies for Terry” initiative, as well as online donations directly to the Terry Fox Foundation.
Our Leadership program has set a goal of raising $1000 for cancer research this year. Please consider supporting this cause that for 45 years has contributed towards supporting Canadians and their families who have been affected by cancer.
