Convocation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 25th at Chinook High School in our gymnasium. We will begin our program at 1:00 pm and conclude at about 3:30 pm. Following are a few points of important information:
Each grad is permitted a maximum of 4 guests.
We understand that 4 tickets are not a lot, particularly for those families who are large or split but we have a maximum occupancy for the gym that must be adhered to.
We will be streaming the event live on our Chinook YouTube channel to allow for anyone unable to attend in person to still view and celebrate.
Graduates should be in the school by no later than 12:30 to allow for alphabetization and organization in the upstairs west hallways. We recommend students get here by 12:15 to ensure things go smoothly.
Lifetouch is the official photographer and will take pictures of each grad receiving his/her diploma and/or handshake.
As the event is approximately 2 ½ hours in duration, the gym can get very warm and the bleachers rather uncomfortable. As such, please carefully consider a guest’s ability to remain comfortable with the seating, duration, and temperature.
We will have special seating for families with accessibility needs. If that pertains to you, please send me an email with details so we can make sure we have the proper accommodations present.
